Thanks to our guest Jerry Anderson on the show today we learned about the 9-11 Memorial Service being held at the Sumpter Amphitheater in Papillion just off 108th and Highway 370, just south of Papillion-La Vista South High School. This event is on Saturday 9-11 at 9 AM. There will be an invocation, presentation of colors, and patriotic songs. For more information contact me and I’ll let Jerry know you’re interested. Please make plans to attend this great event that a lot of good folks have worked hard to make happen!

The word on the street is school, and it’s also misspelled. This article comes from Yahoo. I found it pretty funny, and downright sad. It makes this week’s nominee for AmeriCANTS.

Knowing my sinful nature I’m amazed this entire planet is not engulfed in treachery at every level one could define. So I believe there is a force of good working among us. That’s all the proof I need that there is a God…and that we need Him. There certainly are good things still worth fighting for and defending even when we fall short of the magnificence of those things we fight for. That is why I do what I do.
